Party Poker: The Most Well Known Poker
Poker is a very popular card game, where players with either fully or partially hidden cards bet into a central “pot.” To the player having the best card combination, the accumulated bet in the pot is then handed over.
Before the dealing of the cards, one or more players, depending on the rule, is required to place an initial bet unto the pot. After which, the cards are dealt, face down. Thus the game begins.
Strategy should be developed so that one will learn who plays fair or who the sharper player is. By defining them, one can easily deal with them. Carefully study each player’s move so you will prevent loss in your cards.
Playing party poker free online is very much different than playing plain poker in a room. The strategies and odds change suddenly once one starts playing online poker after playing the normal version of poker. But the comfort levels are high and for a few even the chances of winning become higher.
The online players play poker and win it because of fair play and they understand very well how to play the game. They also might have devised several strategies on how to win these games. It is very important to have strategies.
Party poker has the fundamental poker rules, though it may be different in some rooms. Generally, Party Poker starts with a batch of two players situated at the left of the “dealer button.” This dealer buttons refers to the round disc being passed on clockwise on each player. It signifies who will be dealer in the event that the deal was move forward from one player to another.
The betting starts on the first part of the game where the money is placed into the pot before dealing the cards. Normally, the first blind is the one that places half of the required minimum stake. The first blind refers to the player situated at the left of the dealer. The second blind, on the other hand, is the one responsible in placing the full minimum required bet.
What does the party poker give a gamer? Minutes and hours of enjoyment! you can be a novice in a game, or a very experienced player, party poker can be your poker oasis. It is the place where one can learn with many other beginners. Party poker sites have links to thousands and millions of players. The ability of the players also ranges from a complete beginner knowing nothing about poker, to advanced and pro players. However, one needs to be wary of your betting, because you might lose serious money in party pokers. The benefits really far outweigh the risks that are involved. Party poker can also reward you a lot of dollars, and might make ones wallet fat.
*Drink very less when playing. Too much alcohol in you would make you place silly bets. You may end up betting maximum for poor cards.
*Money management is a very important factor. Plan in advance how much you want to spend in a day. It is nice to play only once, through the slot machines. If all the money for the day is used up then it is advisable to quit. The same goes for pit games also, always manage your money.
*If you are on the losing side, simply quit. It is harder to predict your luck next time. So stop wasting your money and don’t increase your bets hoping to make up.
Like the good old saying goes ” Patience is a virtue”. Just watch collect statistics and learn.
Everything said and done, even if you are expert in playing these games, Gambling is all about having luck.

What is the deal with online poker? Can you still play on the sites like party poker in the US or not?
I want to know if you can still play online poker on Party Poker or any sites like it if you live in the US?
I believe the law they passed makes it impossible for you to gamble at such sites. Something like making it illegal for a credit card company to deal with them. So you can still play, just not with real money.
References :
You can still play online for real money. But not with Party Poker. But there are many others than still accept American real money players, and it is not illegal to play either.
You can use sites like Neteller to pay money into your poker account.
There is talk about the law being changed since it never should have been slipped into an anti terrorism bill in the first place.

Here is an article that explains what the new act means…

You can still play online, but only on sites that support US players.

You can not play on PartyPoker.com if you are a US based online poker player for real money. PartyPoker recently announced that they will not allow any US based players to play on their site. However, you should not be afraid to play poker online.
The recent legislation for online gambling does not make playing poker online illegal. The government has never pursued an individual for playing online poker. This law will not change that. The new Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) deals with financial institutions, banks, and illegal internet gambling sites. Not individual poker players.
You can still play online poker if you are a US based player. Some of the biggest online poker rooms are still accepting US players, including the following:
Poker Stars – They have stated that they will continue accepting US based players and they have a 100% bonus for new players. They are also giving away over $500,000 in World Poker Tour prize packages over the next few weeks.

Full Tilt Poker – Full Tilt has some of the biggest pros on their site including Howard Leder, Chris Ferguson, Allen Cunningham, Mike Matusow, and many more. You can even play against a pro for play money. I recently was playing Holdem against WPT Season 4 Player of the Year Gavin Smith. This was a play money table. It’s great to see top notch pros like Gavin give the smaller guys a chance to play against a pro. Full Tilt is giving away a 100% bonus up to $600 for new players. They have announced that they are still accepting US based online poker players.

Poker.com – This is a newer online poker room, but, I feel it is one of the better rooms out there. They have a ton of Freeroll tournaments where you can win cash prizes for no cost. They are giving away a 100% bonus for new players up to $100. They have stated that they will continue to accept US based poker players.

All of the above sites have personally assured me that they will continue to allow a US player to play on their sites. They also said that my money is always safe and accessible at any time. I have made deposits and withdrawals at all of the above poker rooms recently and had no problems.

PartyPoker no longer accepts wagers from US players (read their press release here: http://www.theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/usa/partygaming.pdf , so if you are looking for a real-money game, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
There are still MANY sites that accept US-based real-money players. My two recommendations are PokerStars (currently offers a Buy 50 Get 50 Free initial deposit bonus) and FullTilt (currently offers a 100% bonus on your initial deposit between 100 and 600). Check out the sites at the links below:
