What does the term case Ace mean in Texas Holdem poker?

I’ve heard this term used by other players when describing somebody’s hand.
Case card or case ace is the the only card in the whole deck that can save you and make your hand. For example lets say that you have A-A in the hole and the board is 3-3-A and you get all your chips into the middle, and when you flip over your hand, he shows you pocket 3-3′s in the hole. You now must catch the case ace to win the hand, no other card can come to save you, you must make quad aces to win the hand now. That is what case ace or case card means.






A case card is the last card of that kind left in the deck

the case ace means.. when all the other aces are in play.. the CASE card is the last one of that card in the deck.. most will say that as in if the other 3 were in oplay or thrown away.. so its the last ace in the deck
